My 4 month old daughter was given a place in Bizzykidz books and I was wondering if anyone of you has a child currently in their books and what you think of Bizzykidz. Would you recommend them?

Ask on NotaPushyMum.com - loads of parents with performing/modelling dc's on there.

babysiame I don't have any direct experience so can't recommend or otherwise but I think they are a reputable agency with a long list of clients. As with all
agencies I guess it depends how well & thorough they are at marketing their models, as it's the clients that choose the models for castings not the agency.

The only slightly off-putting thing is the initial fee (albeit, it's a one-off until child is 18) - I think it is around £180. I think this is pretty standard but seems steep.

Not a scam but try other agencies first.
Join Parents of Child Models UK. There is a whole list of scam and legit agencies x

Tiny Angels have their books open at the moment until the 10th Jan. Where are you based? Could also try Kids London/Manchester.
Bonnie and Betty open in July.
Stay away from M0del, Apple models, blackberry models, talent management, Adora, baby models uk and basically anyone offering test shoots and then selling photos for portfolios.
Children do not need under any circumstance a portfolio.

Thanks! I will definitely check Tiny Angels. I think I have already approached Bonnie and Betty. I am also waiting to hear from Cheeky Monkey. I did like the sound of them very much as they are very selective and do not charge you for anything. I am in South London.

If your daughter is 6 months then then when the books open don't apply. All agencies have their books open for 0-6 months. Try all the top tier agencies first, like Grace and Galor and Bruce and Brown.

She'll be 6 months next week actually. I already applied to Bruce and Brown but at the time I hadn't realise that their books were closed and so I need to reapply. Will give it a shot. I have nothing to lose. Wink

Yes while she's under 6 months make the most of it!
There are lots of non sole that are less selective that have their books open, you can be with more than one of those. You could always join one or more of those and then if you are successful with a sole agency just leave.
Tbh though, some children are still busy with non sole agencies x

I'll see. I'm not desperate to get her in anyway. It was just a thought and I figured that since I had a bit of time before I go back to work it was maybe worth a shot. But I'm gonna keep trying just in case. Thanks for all the info!

Hi just found this thread when googling - my 3 month only baby boy has just been signed by Grace and Galore I'm over the moon and had a casting straight away!!!

I did have a little advantage that his half sister who is 7yo is also with them

I really like the fact that there is no upfront charge apart from £35 for website profile which is taken out of there first job!!

Hi, congratulations!

I actually am glad I waited as I really wanted my little girl to be taken under the wings of Cheeky Monkey Modelling and they did call. We are now waiting to meet the team early april. I love the fact that they do not charge anything and are also very selective. Fingers crossed it all goes well.

I'm resurrecting this thread to see how you all got on with the agencies as I'm now thinking of putting my DS (6mo) in for consideration.
Did you get much work/auditions?
Was it worthwhile?

I'd love to know your experiences please.

Tia.
