Does anyone still use blogger.com?
Or Wordpress?
Or is there something else you would recommend?

No experience here, but thinking I might start one too. A friend has recommended Blogger, but I'm interested in other advice.

I use blogger. I believe blogger and wordpress are the two most common. Blogger is linked to your google account so while you can have multiple blogs, you can only have one username. (You can change it so it's not your email address.)

I don't update mine very often so not sure my advice is very good Grin

My DD uses blogger through her google account. It is really easy to set up just using the on-line prompts. You can keep it distinct and anonymous from the rest of your on-line profile too if you choose. She has helped me set mine up. I just need to produce some content - don't often get beyond single para MN posts.

Of blogs I read I don't like having to register all over the place so would recommend going mainstream.

Thanks. Was worried if I used blogger via google that my google email (including real name etc) would be visible to the public, which I wouldn't want!

It's definitely not. My blog is anonymous.

If it gets popular and you want to, it's also possible to buy your own domain and redirect people so you have a www. address leading to your blogger/wordpress.
