Primary Steps - anyone else noticed or is it just me?

When they went into administration we were all assured that it would make no difference, it was all business as usual.

Well, perhaps this is just me, but I have noticed in the last month every time I come to pick dd up they are either running around the room like mad things, watching tv or in the sensory room (softplay area).

She hasn't brought home any arts/crafts stuff for weeks and it used to be on a daily basis. My suspicions are that they're cutting out/down on anything that costs them money...

Anyone else had the same experience? And is it time to make alternative childcare plans? (my heart just sinks at the thought of it...)

My ds started at one just as they went into admin. I was wondering should I look elsewhere too?

I know nothing about nurseries but I notifce that their report card is done on scrap paper.

Not changed a great deal in my opininion. He has brought back the odd painting thingy.

I don't know whether they are a good nursery of not but dh is settling in and they are in my street so I'm quite worried too!

My dd has been at one for a few months, and way down -- I'm told it's because a lot of the children have started at school instead. Very quiet there these days, and I feel funny about leaving dd there when there are only 2-3 other children.

Am worried, because there are no other nurseries convenient to us that have space available. Trying not to panic, but...

I should note that she only ever brought home artwork every 2 weeks or so before administration, and the report cards aren't on scrap paper at our nursery. I suppose it varies from location to location.

I emailed their customer services for an update last week. No response. Bit concerned about that.

My dh does the nursery runs but I'm going to do it so I can try and see what's going on.

I have to say the staff are still there so I suppose that's a good sign.
