What are your experiences? My 1yr old has just started; not sure about a few things, but still early days

Our son has just started at the Just Learning at Whipps Cross. Generally they have been good and have been tolerant of our regular phone calls in these early days. Only slight issue we have had was when his key workers were not in and the handover of key info on our son's preferences didn't seem to have been done properly. My friend's son has been there since Jan and she has recommended it to a few friends so must be good!

how old is your son Liff? and do they take him outside at all? I am a little concerned that my son seem to be stuck in one room all day, not getting any fresh air. is that the norm for 1 yr olds?

not sure that he has been outside actually as it's never in his book at the end of the day. He is in the room with the smallest babies so some are one I think

it looks like our children may be in the same room!

How is your little one finding it now? Our son does seem generally quite happy there but he still won't take any milk/water from them. Still no sign of them having been outside yet!

my son was off ill for a couple of days 2 weeks ago with a tummy bug that was going around the nursery.... he usually eats very little there; but does drink his milk; he has been there 4 weeks now; still tearful when i leave, but is getting less & less.
