I'm a Teacher on maternity leave and have spent a lot, possibly too much time reflecting on my role as a Teacher when I was pregnant.
In many ways, my job didn't allow for the sickly, roller coaster pregnancy I experienced. I want to reach out to other pregnant Teachers so they know they're not alone. I googled and googled to find support, to meet other pregnant and struggling Teachers but I only found a few.
Too many Teachers live their jobs and feel bad for taking time off for illness because of the increased workload they face on return and because of the increased workload on their colleagues.
what's the answer? I don't know. But finding a solution to the problem appears almost impossible.
I hope this blog can help someone who is struggling.
