I'm having one of those moments where the baby has gone to bed and I really feel like listening to some music that conveys how it feels to be a parent - a moment of self-indulgence! Hopefully a great sounding feminist lyricist. Something that you can relate to in the moment of quiet that will recharge me for when she wakes up. Any ideas? Thanks!!

But at Amazon for pennies ( I buy used, cheaper than downloads and often new)

Happy listening.

I don't know if any of the lyrics convey how it feels to be a parent though. I think it's nice to have a bit of me time though.

Hard to beat for a feminist lyric.

I like Laura Marling - I speak because I can album at times like those, particularly darkness descends.
