We've been asked by TalkTalk to recruit UK based MNers to join a special panel to take part in a total of around 4 activities over the coming months.
We've been asked to find around 400 MNers (though it could be more) to take part in at least four activities (one of which is open only to TalkTalk customers only) - these are consultations about specific strategy ideas, improving customer service and one for customers about a TalkTalk product.
Each activity will be undertaken either on the boards or off site. If you're selected for the panel you will be emailed a link, and each time there will be a prize draw incentive with a great prize on offer for at least one lucky participant. Prizes will include family tickets to the X Factor tour, mobile handsets and shopping vouchers.
The panel is open to all UK MNers with at least one child at home.
As we say, we're looking for customers as well as non customers - it's open to everyone whether you love, loathe or have never heard of TalkTalk!
If you'd like to take part please complete this survey and we'll be in touch with those selected for the panel asap.
Please note that there are a few more questions in this sign up survey than usual - that's because we want to choose panellists based on what they think on the issues covered. There are no right or wrong answers!
Thanks

Thanks Tee - all fixed now!
As a current TalkTalk customer, I'll do anything to improve their service!
Done! I used to be a customer but....they were so bad that I cancelled, I hope I can help them get better :D

Done, I would love to do this. I'm a talk talk customer and would love to help them improve their service. That would surely benefit so many customers!

I wouldn't touch talktalk with a bargepole, not even to give them 'feedback'.
can we guarentee i will not 'win' family tickets to the X-factor tour?
Disgraceful shocking company. Devoid of any morals as long as they get a sale.
tee - there was a panel survey a while back, but I think this is a more detailed thing.
This thread is like tumbleweed, mind.
Well...Talk Talk not exactly well liked, huh?
I'll happily tell them what they're doing wrong for shopping vouchers, or a new phone. (I'd pass on the X factor stuff, though)
'...improving customer service..'? They need more than a survey and a panel of Mums to do that. Firing everyone of their useless, devoid of any morals employees and starting from scratch would be a good start
Do they get to see these comments? I do hope so

Anyone recall the recent thread about their misspelling to someone's relative with LD's? That alone makes me want to avoid this company. For any reason?
How to improve Talk Talk's customer services? Start with not misselling products, and not signing up people when someone else has power of attorney for them. That would be a good start. Anything else is extra...
Couthy, I was just thinking about that.
They do not have a good reputation. I would never use them.
I have read about how awful the customer service is many times on the consumer problems sections of the weekend paper. They sound cheap but very rubbish. I would rather pay a little more than deal with them.
I'm with talktalk and have had no problems. I was worried about signing up with them after all the bad reviews they get. On the 2 occasions I've needed to contact customer services, they were very helpful and sorted things quickly and easily.
Looks like I'm in the minority though!
Their sales are very pushy indeed. I did one of their online speed estimate via postcode things because they're one of the few providers who will supply where we live. I had to give my phone number and they DID ring the next day and were so persistent when I said I wasn't interested that I had to put the phone down on them.
We are going over to BT tomorrow, I am so excited. I would be more than happy to give talktalk a piece of my mind my opinion. At least I will be able to when I have fully functioning, reliable broadband rather than the crap service we have endured for the past 12 months.
