I want to book some tickets at the Lowry to see scooby doo. Has anyone been to the theatre - if so are we best getting seats in the stalls?

They are all pretty good nikkim. We go reasonably frequently and have usually sat upstairs if it is the back of the stalls it can be harder to see than sircle front upstairs! None of the seats are bad though. How old are your kids? My youngest has gone since she was 4 and we have never had a porblem except at the side circle where you dont see one side but that is the same in all theatres.

thanks for the advice, my dd is 3. I am amazed at the wealth of plays/ musicals on at the Lowry we could see as a family. Have never been to the Lowry before, whenever we have been to the theatre before we have sat in the circle but was wondering if it is better for kids to be in the stalls as they are close to the actio. Although as she is little the circle might be a better idea to prevent heads getting in the way

You do get an excellent view from the circle, nikki - the seats are raked (?) very steeply so that the person in front of you is down by your knees! But you are a bit distant - it's almost like watching TV!

Have never had stalls seats there so I don't know what the view is like from those.
