He is even worse than William Leith, and he was bad.

Is he the guy that did all the stuff about David Ikie and the conspiracy theories?

I don't remember him writing about David Ike, but I did stop reading the Observer for quite a few years, so I might have missed that.

And I hate Guy Browning's column, but that's mainly because I knew him at Oxford.

ON a similar theme, anyone read Julie Burchill then heard her voice? Totally at odds with each other.

Ronson used to be hilarious in Time Out about 12 years ago.
Yes,Burchill's voice is astounding.

Ronson, Birchill, writers with bad voices (because no one will listen to them when they talk?) I see a pattern emerging.

I always remember reading something Guy Browinging wrote about him changing agents and not getting any writing work, very whinging and bitter.

It was a complicated and clearly failed Goodness Gracious Me ref (you can get it at home for nothing, beta!) but actually demonstrated pretty well why I don't have a national column

EF was a mate of my ex's and reminds me rather uncomfortably of him.

I've long despised Jon Ronson's burbling inanities, whether spoken or in print. I'm delighted to learn I'm not alone and that his popularity is decreasing due to his overexposure so that even previous fans such as Twiglett now have reservations. Great news.
