So, M&S have decided that it is now safe to advertise on FB again, as no ads will appear next to inappropriate content. Not so. What FB forgot to tell them and other advertisers is that lots of this stuff gets posted on individuals personal profiles and advertising policy hasn't changed on those, just pages and groups.
Yes this is targeted advertising to the user BUT Facebook should not be allowing such content on a service for 13 year olds and upwards in the first instance and they certainly shouldn't be selling it as viable advertising space to the likes of M&S.
This content is degrading to women and has absolutely no place on a 'social network'. Please get involved Mumsnet and tell FB that this content is just unacceptable.
