SiL just found out having twins, how is it different from having 1??????????

She is in her late thirties, and this is her first pregnancy, what does she need to look out for or concentrate on?

it is more exhausting !

If they are id then she can expect fortnightly scans. If they are in two separate placentas then maybe only 1 or 2 extra scans above normal. It is likely they will be born a bit early - 35-37 weeks maybe - but some do make it to 40 or more weeks (rather them than me )

she will be bigger and yes more knackered.

Great excuse for lots of attention and lots of time sat on sofa being waited on hand and foot!

does your SIL have access to internet, she would be well advise to log onto here herself, lots of advice and support to be had.

She needs to take very good care of herself. As Meely said, give her directions to us and let us show her the couch and answer her questions Good luck to her.
