Twin slings (or other top tips)

Hi All,

My twins are a month old (how time flies!) and are starting to have a bit more awake time. I'm thinking it would be great to have a sling to start taking them around the house with me to give them a break from their Moses baskets. After doing a bit of research there seem to be such mixed reviews on the ones available so just wondering what other people's experiences are?

I had one of the stretchy ones, sorry can't remember the brand but it wasnt cheap and had good reviews. I could not get on with it at all.

If you have a look on TAMBA if you're a member there is a very knowledgable lady on the messageboards about twin slings. DDo you want to sling both at the same time or one at a time?

I had a Weego, a carrier rather than a sling, was brilliantly useful and could be used from birth even with small babies so ideal. It was a bit fiddly in terms of getting them in and out - definitely couldn't get them out without waking them up - but they felt very secure and well held in it. Def get something - it's an absolute godsend in the early days to be able to hold them both and also have both hands free.

I had two Connecta carriers that I used from the time they were able to hold their heads up--one in front and one in back. Loved them as they were so easy and a surefire way to get both girls to sleep if I desperately needed some me-time. Definitely join the twin sling FB group!
