Is anyone interested in joining me in a new book circle?

Brief explanation for those who have not done it before, copied from one of the first circles via flame:

  1. Get 12 members (one for each month of the year).
  1. Decide if you have any banned genres (chick lit/mis lit etc)
  1. Decide a date each month you post books.
  1. Make the members into a list to show who posts to who (post the the person after you on the list).
  1. Exchange addresses (PMs to the person above you in the list to give them your address, and the person below you to get the address to post to)
  1. Post book (pref with MN name written in it!)
  1. Read, enjoy and comment on that book's thread

I'm interested but a bit confused, do you send out a book a month or just one over the year?Confused

(in my defence against being confused I'm 6 months pregnant, with a boisterous toddler & in the middle of a house move so haven't had a good night's sleep in weeks!)

Pascha · 20/06/2012 18:45

I'm coming back please Jas. I have my book lined up already Smile

Housewifefromheaven · 20/06/2012 18:46

Yes yes me me!!

Pascha · 20/06/2012 18:46

MrsHelsBels you read one book, comment on it and post it on to the next MNer at the beginning of the month. Someone posts one to you. 12 people =12 months so over the year you read 12 books.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 20/06/2012 18:48

I did one of these yrs ago, would love to join :)

Sastra · 20/06/2012 18:48

ShirleyKnot · 21/06/2012 10:58

SO want to do this but I'm a flake.

MrsHelsBels74 · 21/06/2012 12:14

I'm still deciding, would love to do it but with a baby due in 3 months I'm not sure how much reading I'll be doing.

Lightshines · 21/06/2012 23:04

Me, me - I have been in since the start and would like to do another round Grin

I wouldn't mind joining but have a specific request of no abuse stuff?

Jas · 22/06/2012 07:32

That would come under mis lit....something we have always avoided in the past and I vertainly would be happy to avoid again, so not a problem, Olympic...

Shirley, and MrsHelsBels - only you two can decide - I tend to be a bit flaky, but manage to post and read one book a month. New babies have been a reason in the past for people dropping out though...

And gald to see you found us lightshines. Smile

OlympicMarathonNCer · 22/06/2012 08:35

Yeah, me too then.

itsatiggerday · 22/06/2012 10:24

Oh yeah, I'm another vote for definitely no mis lit.

MrsHelsBels74 · 22/06/2012 11:20

If you get the 12 people I'm happy to bow out as would rather not start then begin & get bogged down with nappies & have to stop halfway through.
