Hi,
I had medical management nine days ago and the doctor felt I had passed everything. I was discharged that day.
I had little or no bleeding until the last few days when I have been noticing blood on the toilet roll most times when I go to the loo, and this morning I even had a few small clots. Is this normal to have nine days later?

Hi Gateau,

sorry you have been through this. I have had 2 medically managed missed m/c's and other miscarriages that weren't missed.

My first was about 12 years ago and was horribly complicated, but I do remember bleeding and clotting for a long time - maybe 2 weeks. the second was over and done with within a day or so of the procedure....so thats not entirely helpful to you is it!

I would suggest you call your practise nurse for some advice especially if there is any discharge or smell that might indicate an infection.

Hi,

Sorry to hear of your loss.
I too had medical management on the 7th December, I bled heavily for 1wk2days then it stopped quite quickly. I havent yet had a period or any other bleeding but the Midwives did say that I could have random spots of bleeding for a good few weeks afterwards, but it probably would be best for you to go and see them.

Hi there, sorry to hear of your loss. I had med management in October and I bled for at least 2 weeks, got fairly light toward the end tho and had no real pain. I also had an ERPC in Jan last year and bled for 4 weeks with bad pain but that was due to an infection from the procedure so just keep an eye on it and visit your gp if it continues for too long.
Take care x
