Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Is this loss number 5?

So, I've lost four pregnancies over the last two years. One termination for medical reasons, one loss at 17 weeks due to sub chorionic hematoma and two early miscarriages. Tests fine and losses apparently not connected. Have not had genetic karotyping done. Just finished round 1 clomid, and tested yesterday afternoon at 13dpo and got a reasonable, though bit faint, bfp. Tested again this morning, with second morning urine and its fainter- surely should be getting darker? Is this a mmc again do ou think?! No bleeding/cramping. What should I do? Thanks xxx

And by fainter, it was practically invisible this morning.

Second urine can make a difference. I'd wait a couple of days if you can bear it and retest if AF doesn't show.

It's doing my head in! Just want to know either bloody way. Totally don't feel like I'm about to miscarry, hence me thinking it might be another mmc

Hang on in there Tolly, I know it's impossible to relax (i also had five mc inc 2 mmc and no cause found) but try to take things one day at a time - it sounds like the clomid has done its job, so sit tight until you can get yourself to the EPU on Monday. I've got my fingers crossed for you, mmc really mess with your head, but if you'd had another loss this early the test would be negative by now. Xxx

Do you think it's even worth going to the epu? they won't be able to scan me yet and doubt they'll do bloods without me bleeding. I've also decided against progesterone this time- I'm convinced before it just made the mmc hang about and there isn't any real convincing evidence it makes any difference as to whether you miscarry anyway?! Is this a bad idea? Oh fuckety fuck! Peach- what would you do?!

I suggested the epu cos i thought they'd probably do sequential bloods a few days apart to see how the hcg levels are doing, but maybe not all epu's do that? I would definitely take the progesterone tbh, it may have made the mmc hang about, but if, wonderfully, this is a lovely sticky pregnancy then I would take all the help that's on offer...by the time i had mc no 5 i was on heparin, progesterone and some kind of anti-rejection drug i forget the name of, my consultant was working on the idea that even though all the tests came back 100% he would treat all possible problems just in case...but with the exception of the heparin - to help with implantation - nothing was started until after the early bloods showed things were heading in the right direction. If not the epu then could you contact whoever prescribed the clomid? It is really really hard I know...be gentle with yourself...
