A week ago

It's a week and a day since I heard I had miscarried, and six days since my D&C. I've cried and cried, and taken a few days off work, and now I'm back at the office.

Awful.

I'll be 42 in two weeks, and I have two lovely, lovely kids, 2 and 5. I had thought about a third baby, and then got this lovely surprise.

I'm still mourning, but I'm wondering whether my family should now be complete.

Only you can decide if you want to try again, but it's a very emotional time, take a little while to process the loss before making a decision.
