Hi I'm all new to this

I went for my 12 week scan just over 8 week ago to be told I had suffered a missed miscarriage a few days later I was given tablets then a week later everything passed but 7 weeks on I'm still light bleeding. I had what I thought was my period start last Saturday I was heavy and was painful but now my body has gone back to the light bleeding. I just want advice on what to do and if this is normal. This was my first pregnancy and it is heartbreaking me and my husband want to be able to try again and I want to be able to get back to normal any advice would be wonderful xx

Hi kimmie sorry to hear about your MC. It's not unusual for cycles to be screwy for a few months post miscarriage. Not-so-affectionately referred to as WTF cycles. If it doesn't settle go to your GP about it. Did you have a post MC scan to confirm all tissue had been passed?

I am in the same scenario. I mc'd in late June after the initial bleed I settled a bit, but since what I thought was my first actual period (at about 7-8 weeks after dc), I've had a light bleed since. So, close to 6 weeks now. I've finally had a scan date come through for Sunday, I really want ttc, but my body just doesn't want to settle down so I'm actually having a cycle. Really worried that in my dc there was damage done, don't think there is anything left. What has your doctor said? Has anyone else had anything like this. This was our first pregnancy and I'm starting u get scared it will be our only.

Don't know if this well help anyone. But I've just had a scan regarding my spotting. Was extremelly concerned, certain in the end I was too old and never going to be able to join the club of being a mum after my miscarriage and it turns out I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant again. Granted only two weeks away from where we lost our first little one, but praying all will be well yet. So, lots of baby dust to everyone and keep your heads high.
