Hi, so sorry you are going through this, it's horrible. I think sometimes it's just harder for husbands/partners to express their feelings about miscarriage. My DH also said he felt I had already bonded with our baby who we lost (MMC) at around 12wks, where as he was excited about being a dad but hadn't really connected with the baby as a real person.

I found talking to other women who had similar experiences helpful and also writing down my feelings. It may sound silly but DH bought me a teddy bear too and it really helped having something, that he had given me, to cuddle at night.

Hi roxie I'm sorry you are going through a miscarriage. It's often difficult for husbands or partners to react helpfully in this situation, particularly if you didn't know you were pregnant. You are the one going through an unpleasant physical experience, a hormone crash and trying to process emotionally being pregnant and then having lost the baby all at once. You probably need to spell out what support you need at the moment in words of one syllable.
Lots of support available here though, you don't need to feel alone with it. I'd encourage you to confide in some friends in real life as well, you may be surprised how many of them have been through similar, it is very common and just not openly talked about.
