DH at early pregnancy scan?

Hi everyone,

I'm 7 wks pregnant, but have had a lot of bleeding over the wknd, and have got an early pregnancy scan today. Clinging to hope that things might be OK, but know in my heart of hearts that it probably won't be.

Did other peoples DP's/DH's get to go into the scans, or do they wait outside? Just wondering if he will be able to come in to support me.

Hello,

I have had my dh with my at all my scans but one and they were fine for him to be there. (I really needed him there for support.) Also, at my ERPC (hopefully you won't get to that stage) he stayed with me in the hospital although obviously he wasn't there in the operation theatre or recovery but was there when I came back to the ward.

I really hope that it will be good news. (The pregnancy board has lots of stories of bleeding that don't result in miscarriage!) x

chocolate I hope you get good news today.

I have had 3 appts at the EPU and my DH has always come with me both to the appt and the scan. It really helped having him there holding my hands and giving me hugs.

Good Luck x

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your help and support. Have been for scan, and sadly have had a complete miscarriage. To be honest, i knew that there couldnt be much left after i bled so much. Good luck to all of you and thanks again for your help.
