Hi all just wanted reassurance really and hope.just found out I am miscarrying today at 6weeks pregnant. Had a miscarriage same time last year also which was a missed miscarriage at 8weeks. I already have a 3 year old daughter. Has anyone gone on to have a healthy pregnancy following two miscarriages in a row?just worried there may be something wrong with me and really want a second healthy child.

I'm so very sorry you're having to go through this again.

I can offer you some hope! My sil had two mc's (one being a mmc) and went on to have two gorgeous children. The second was born just before christmas.

Hope you're ok. I find having a younger child good as it means you have to keep going.

My sister had a mmc and now has a son. I know lots of people who have had 2 or 3 mcs and gone on to have healthy kids.

I had a mc in '99 and a healthy now 10 year old in 2000, another mc in 2005, another mc in 2006 and a healthy now 4 year old in 2007. Miscarriage is ridiculously common; I was eventually able to compare it to like pruning a rose, preparing the way for healthy growth later on. It actually happens in 1 in 4 pregnancies. Devastating, but usually quite normal and natural. I love my children even more because of what I went through to get them. Get yourself some reflexology or acupucture or whatever works for you; you've been through an intense emotional and physical time, look after yourself. xx
