Poor, poor woman and her husband. I notice, like Lily Allen it's being reported as a miscarriage, at 7 months? Is that really what it's classed as?

oh no :(
that's just so sad.

very very sad, I would say that is more of a still birth than a miscarriage, after all the baby would have be viable. So heartbreaking :(

Miscarriage or the loss of a baby is just so awful and must be so so horrible when it's so public :(

No it would be classed as a stillbirth/IUD-interuterine death after 24 weeks. Sad

It's just awful. I wonder if they are going to share what happened? There is usually a known cause for stillbirth, although not always.

Poor poor woman, I can't imagine what she's going through.

I hope she does get a cause, although it won't help, I know I'd want to know.

My heart goes out to Amanda and her husband
at this sad time,I can relate to what she is going through happened to me 3 times but over 20 years ago still bears heavily on my heart strings,I hope they can get over the
problem thats occured and go on to have more
children in the future, although at the moment that is the last thing that is thought
about,I went on to have two strong strapping
boys who are the light of my life.

Thats truely horrible for her and her family. So very very sad and shit. How can they call this a miscarriage? Heart goes out to her and anyone who has to go through such horror.

So very sad for Amanda and her family. Truly dreadful news.

nannynobnobs · 06/02/2011 15:45

So far the only paper not calling it a miscarriage is, oddly, the News of the World.
Terrible news :( I hope the family are given privacy.

Very Sad for Amanda and her partner. She had a M/C in May and was so cautious about revealing any information. So near yet so far. RIP little one
