my cup of Tea taste weird ?? is this hormones

Hi everyone
First thing on a morning I have a cup of tea usually 2 or 3 amd sometimes during the month ( gunna start making note when ) my Tea just does not taste right has any one else found this at menopause age i am 48

Interestlingly I have started to favour coffee over tea in the last year because i had found the tea just didnt taste as nice! I always used to have one coffee on a morning then tea for rest of the day. Now i have to virtually force myself to have a cup of tea. I'm 53 and my MENO finally PAUSED for good 15 months ago- so maybe you're onto something!! Anyone got any scientific theories?

what? you are putting hormones in your tea? Course it will taste weird.

Do you use milk in your tea? Has the milk gone off? How long does a carton of milk last in your house? Nobody but me uses milk here and it definitely develops a different taste as the days go on, in a predictable pattern.

I went off coffee completely a few years ago -- about 9/10 iirc. It got to the point where I couldn't stand the smell or taste of it. Nowhere near menopause yet by the looks of things though I'm in my late 40s.

Have read that fluctuating hormones particulary estrogen can affect taste, so do you all think this could be my hormones linked to the menopause affecting the Tea taste , I am gunna start making note now how often and when this happens cause some mornings i think why i am drinking this !!
