I've been low carbing for quite a while now, very, very happily. Today I walked to my local supermarket to use their scale, it has a printout which shows body fat percentage. I am monitoring this as my original % was 50% .
I was delighted to find it was now 39%! It means that five and a half stone of me is fat, originally it was more than eight and a half .
Anyway, I was standing outside the supermarket looking at my little bit of paper, basking in joy , when a man working in the back of a lorry shouted "are you waiting for a lift?"
I shook my head and he then said "I wondered if you might want any of these boxes of donuts, I've just picked them up to take back to depot, they're past their sell by date and will be trashed."
In all my wildest carboholic dreams I never imagined this scenario .
I said "no thanks" and walked away. Blimey, there must have been 30 boxes of the things!
