... come and sign up here!

It's only an 8 week one this time, as I'm away sunning myself beforehand.

So it will be an extra strict one - you have been warned!

I'm in, I've been poorly for the past ten days so couldn't face lots of fat, I'll be glad to get back on it.

There's an interesting program on BBC Wales for any of you in the region tomorrow night - Fat V's Carbs - the journalist tried and failed to lose weight the conventional low calorie way so he is trying the LCHF way. He will be speaking to doctors, dietitians etc so it will be interesting to see.

Oh best of luck for the new one everyone. I am still gutted about my low fat gall stone induced diet as nothing suits me so well as low carbing.

I will be watching that programme too breakfastbap.

I am currently doing WW and have just signed up for another 3 months - but am wondering whether I could combine the two to shake things up a bit - and maybe get me out of the rut of eating the same high carb veggies and fruit, if nothing else!

I have lost almost 3 stone over 18 months but have previously had ok results with eating low carb. Have read the guidelines and I think it would work apart from the "eating lots of fat" bit ..... just wondered how much fat/fatty foods is recommended (and not great lover of fat, if I am honest). Or would I be better waiting till the january one and just doing LC then?

Me please - need to lose 4.5 stone which since my youngest is 14 months I can no longer really attribute to baby weight. Have been trying to LC but getting it wrong I think!

Signing up!

Very excited about this as think it may well work for me. Am following BIWI's bootcamp light at the moment, only 5 days in and have definitely lost weight and feel so much better. Eating some berries though and had one glass of wine.

It's going well though, overall. Easy to follow as long as you plan ahead and get over eating full fat everything. I do have the carbflu or it cold just be a cold!

Thanks BIWI!

Taffy Bootcamp is always high fat. It's how you should be eating on a low carb diet.

What is it about fat that you don't like? Have you just been indoctrinated by 'fat is bad'?! Fat is important in many ways, but particularly for low carbing they help to keep you feeling full. (It's also very good for your skin I believe, which may be more of a motivator Grin

There must be some form of fat that you enjoy eating, that you could accommodate - full fat yoghurt instead of low fat, oily vinaigrette dressings on your salad, butter on your veg, etc?

I'll be joining you all. I've been lurking around all summer and reading how everyone is doing but not been much into posting. I am still maintaining after losing almost 4st on LCHF/BC but I put a few pounds back. Less than half a stone but I now just gain and lose the same half stone and can't seem to stay below 12st for more than a day or so! Think maybe I just need to get out of a rut and try some new recipes etc.

Don't know who is doing the spread sheet but I'm not worried about going on if you are short of space.

I'm in! Excited for the new bootcamp! I've been keeping to LCHF pretty well since the end of the last one but I'm looking forward to the accountability of BC to keep me focused! Smile

Oh, sign me up!

I started last bootcamp at 19st 12lbs, today I am 13st 8lbs! Grin I still want to lose around a stone, maybe a bit more. I'm very tall so I do have a normal bmi now, but I'd prefer to be at the lower end of normal because after several c sections that overhang looks a lot better when I'm smaller!

Good luck everyone!

I'm in. Followed the last bootcamp - although didn't post very often- and lost 1.5stone. Have been doing light bootcamp ish for last month or two and managing to keep steady weight and have a better relationship with eating.

Still need to lose another 1/2 stone - stone to be comfortable within healthy weight range so another bootcamp focus is just what I need. And better still it's just after the next birthday cluster so know I can stick to the no drinking and no sugar

Thanks BIWI - yes could do yoghurt, cream and butter - Fatty meat would be more of a problem (was veggie for 25 years). Will give it a try and see how I go Grin.

Taffy I was a vegetarian for thirty years and I find eating fatty meat impossible - I have to have the leanest cuts. But I do use lots of butter and full fat yogurt etc.

I'm in. I started lc in April, lost 1 stone 4, then lapsed 😣 I haven't gone back to full carbs, (I don't add chips/potatoes etc to meals) but the treats are coming thick and fast.
Strict is good.

I'd like to join too please!
Have lost 4 stone since having my (last) baby 18 months ago but would still like to loose about a stone to get to a weight where I might be happy with myself.

Looking forward to the support and motivation to get it shifted!
