10 days ago I was in meltdown as I had just found out XH was seeing someone and had decided to live with her soon but had denied to me he was seeing any one.

The advice I received was really supportive along with other messages to other threads that I was able to draw on to help me deal with this shock.

I have just returned from a weekend in NY it cleared my head and helped me put things in perspective.

For anyone who thinks there is no point bothering your friends as they can't help.

Just do it,I hesitated but I was so upset I just retold my feelings and everyone was there to listen and I suddenly didn't feel so alone.

Thanks Mumsnet members, I hope I can help someone else one day.

Funny you should say that raisinbran because I was just reading another thread on here by bignose and was thinking to myself how very kind and supportive and helpful everyone was.

That's the point of life isn't it, raisinbran? to move forward, and offer a hand to the people struggling up behind you. It is a terrible shame there are so many problems on this one website, but the support is fantastic. I thought the same the other day.
