we haven't been out since Good Friday because it's been snowing too much and it blardy cold!

Tell me about it. Ds has Cabin fever and there is only so much In the Night Garden I can take.
I'm off to indulge in chocolate as I can eat it again!! No-one told me Lent was so hard!

It's only half past 10 too. It's too cold to even go for 'a picnic' (which we have been doing happily all year) and my living room is knee deep in small toys and ripped paper!

Mine looks like a soft play place. All the cushions from the sofa and chairs are on the floor and Ds is rolling over them laughing hysterically. Strange child.

Hmm, yes. I am have been mumsnetting since about 8am. The kids are tucked up in my bed watching telly under the blankets and we are texting each other about who does the smelliest farts

Bank holidays (especially wintry ones) are fundamentally boring, whatever your circs...everything is too expensive or too crowded to contemplate or both.
And tere's this pervading feeling that everyone else is doing something really exciting and fun!
