Funny fortnight for friendships :(

A fortnight ago, I was so happy - I'd met some lovely single mums by arranging local get togethers and was confident talking to the mums at school.

Then one of my single mum friends decided to leave the group. I really liked her and was enjoying the friendship that we were forging. It left me really sad. I don't think I "did" anything, I think it was just a bit too busy for her and though I understand her reason, I miss her.

Then a mum at school tells me that a mum from DS's old school was slagging me off to her telling her all sorts of horrid gossipy bitchiness (none of which concerns her in the slightest!)

THEN this weekend a friend from school was supposed to go out with me and stood me up. She text 90 minutes after we were supposed to meet saying she couldn't make it.

Just feel a bit MEH

Tell me it'll get better?

It will get better

Just an unfortunate coincidence all these things happening within a short space of time. We all have phases like this. Try not to take it personally. Be extra kind to yourself

That's really unlucky, it's horrible when people let you down, and really horrible when someone is saying gossipy things about you.

I've had a few friends all cancel on me in a short space of time before now and it just leaves me feeling really on my own.

Try to put it all out of your head. Have you got any other friends you could make some plans with to cheer yourself up?
