I had a friend who lived there...I like it...very gentile, IMO, but others may say boring.

If you have kids, I would say it's a safe bet.

But that was ages ago...before I had DC's. Don't want to mislead you.

Boring, but very good for accessing the international school. Plenty of expats.

I know that cafe on the corner of Lynette's photo - tis rather nice.

Well, I'll see how it goes. I don't want to live in the Parisian equivalent of Peckham, so dull might be nice.

What is the Parisian equivalent of Peckham?

I'd say Fullham/Putney was the equivalent if that's any help.

Fairly dull, but nice parks nearby and one patisserie with the best millefeuille I have ever eaten! However, I'm sure BonsoirAnna will have a better idea though. I've never actually lived in Paris...

Vile. My POLs live there (in avenue Mozart) and it is where DP grew up. Terribly, terribly boring.

If you want to live in the 16th, IMO the only bit that it is at all nice is the area around Avenue Victor Hugo.

Agree with Anna. I prefer along president wilson down to Alma myself.
7e arrondissement is just as proper but nicer, and of course rive gauche so it has to be better
