do any Italian supermarkets stock any British foodstuffs?

I'm, an expat living in Austria and we're off to Italy this week for a holiday. I'm looking forward to eating all things Italian but an added bonus would be if there were things(British things) I could buy that you can't get here to bring back!

Where are you going to Deb and what are you after? Depends on the location as to whether you'll find anything. Generally in the cities you may find the supermarkets have a small selection. In Rome where I live there is a chain of specialised deli's which have a selection of things meaning I can keep my stock of PG Tips replenished!

We're off to the venetian riviera , I think the supermarkets will probably be too small to stock anything I want. Here I can get Cadburys curly wurlys(that's the only Cadbury product)baked beans, tomato soup and that's about it, can't get PG Tips!

ah Rosa on the Little Italy thread is the one to ask, she lives in Venice. You may get a few bits there as tends to be popular with British holidaymakers. Have a good holiday anyway.
