We are just about to complete our visa application having gathered all relevant paperwork, however I am 16 weeks pregnant and obviously lo is not on current application. We are not keen to delay for another 6 months, but not sure how you add new addition to family application. Any ideas anyone.

hi i was preganat wehn we moved. the bub has no bearing on your application although obviously will be relevant in your medical and you wont be able to have a chest x ray so your visas may be delayed, depends whos name the visa's in. Ours was in Dh's so his visa and dd's were approved unconditionally and mine was conditional on attending a chest xray at immigration within 3 weeks of ds being born. so we travelled and had ds here. not sure if that is any help!

I have read abit about this, apparently you can have chest xrays after a certain time for your medical... Unsure about the rest though

Do some research, early pregnancy is the dodgiest time for radiation to have an effect on the feotus, but I would be very careful.

Giggly - contact them and explain the situation. I fell pregnant during my application (after it was submitted but before their decision) and didn't want to be xrayed whilst pregnant. They postponed their decision until ds was born and added him to the paperwork.

Needed to get his passport at two weeks old which was fun lol!

It did mean delaying the application for a few months tho, so this may not help you.

It should all be do-able though, like chloeb says!
