My Mother lives in Belgium, about 30 mins outside Brussels, and My DS I visit her every couple of months and usually stay at least a week. There is a nice soft play centre nearby, but the only playpark we've found is a 20 min drive away. I would be really grateful for any suggestions to help a 23 month old burn off some steam.

Hi I have posted a question in chat too but was wondering if any of you know Brussels airport?
I've just booked a flight online for dh and I think he is going to kill me as he will have to run. He arrives in Brussels from Berlin at 18:20 and his conecting flight to Newcastle goes at 19:00. That's what the online booking website offered so I took it but now think it doesn't seem long to catch the connection.
What is the airport like? If it's not TOO big it might be Ok but I have experience of Shipol airport or London Heathrow where you need a good hour between flights.
If you have done this before, please tell me it's possible.

if the flight arrives on time it should be possible. I've always found Brussels airport reasonably efficient.

Thankyou, you can't imagine how worried i've been since a hit the book flight button! Do you think he'll have to go through another passport control security thing? He'll only have hand luggage so no worries there at least.

no he shouldn't have to go through passport control if he flies from Berlin to Brussels. And if he has no hand luggage, then there shouldn't be a problem, he might have to run though!

Is it one of those airports that always takes you on a bus to the plane? That makes boarding earlier but if it's one that leaves everyone in the lounge until just before time it should be OK ...I hope. Next time he can just fly the expensive way, this is me trying to save him some euros!

most of my flights to the UK form Brussels I've boarded directly onto the plane without a bus.
