A family member has recently passed away and a solicitor executing her will as per her wishes. The solicitor has said that no items can be removed from the house as the contents need to be sold and the value added to the estate, fair enough. But what about small personal items of no or very little value that have huge sentimental value to the rest of the family, and things like family photos and her clothes and personal effects, which we want treated with some respect? We have asked about this but the solicior has been adamant that nothing is removed. I'm worried that some house clearance firm is going to come along and just skip everything that isn't of value.
