ExP V's DS (12)

My ExP is threatening to take legal action against my 12 yr old DS (not his child) for "slander, malicious voice and malicious intent and a few other things" as a rumor has got back to him that my DS has told his friends that myself and him are homeless because of him (exP) and that he won't let us move back home.

Can he take action against a 12 yr old when he didn't witness any of the conversations?

He has me that mythered that I can believe that anything is possible.

The things he said are true by the way - we are homeless because of him (we have been camping out at my parent's since we left the home following a prolonged period of unreasonable behavior and bullying by exP)

He's winding you up and inventing names for fictitious causes of action.

Can't be sued for slander for saying something that is true, and a 12 year old has no assets to enforce against anyway.

Thankyou for your reply. Logically, I know that he can't take legal action but why spend 3 days quoting fictional legal terms when there are far more pressing issues?

I can only refer you back to the first 4 words of my previous post.

Thanks - made me smile!

"He's winding you up...he's winding you up...he's winding you up" lather, rinse and repeat!

At some point, it'll sink into my whizzing head Grin

Good. Best to try and show him it's not working.
