Bank account and passport - different names - legal?

A friend has renewed her passport, to be her 1 married name, B
She has the divorce papers so wants to change it to her maiden name, D, and has booked a holiday in that name.
However, a few years ago she married again and took his surname, K. Her bank accounts and benefits have K.
Only Passport and driving licence have B
Nothing has D

She only has paperwork from first marriage, abusive second husband ripped up marriage cert.

Is it legal for her to have passport and driving licence in maiden name, D, and all other stuff in K? (She can't afford to get divorce yet)

First line should be "1st married name"

She could get a certified copy of her marriage certificate. The flight ticket and her passport need to correspond.

The flight has been booked in the name of D.
We fly in a month and she's only revealed today that her passport is in the name of B.

If ticket and passport tie up, is it ok?

IE, she's just in the situation of having divorced B, and not yet married K as far as passport is concerned, but her bank knows she married K and have changed all that documentation.

So her bank cards say K, she'll be travelling as D (hopefully)

She has the decree absolute to be able to go from B to D on passport. I just worry as that's not really who she is in terms of other documents.

Passport needs same name as tickets booked in name, rest doesn't matter unless she tries to use the different names to do some kind of deceit. She'll need to get passport into name D.

I've got official stuff in 2 names, not an issue as long as you're transparent. Banks give me more grief than anyone else.

One time DH messed up & book a foreign flight in my not-passport name; we winged it with marriage cert in hand, but best not to go there, lean on her to get new passport issued!!

Plenty of people use two surnames, maybe one for work one for everything else, so the bank account name is fine.

She MUST have passport and tickets in the same name though otherwise the airline won't let her fly. Given the time of year I'd say it was much easier to change the name on the tickets, although there'll be a charge.

Ok, thank you. I do worry as multiple names looks really dodgy imo Grin
