Car insurance and no claims help

If you have 'protected' no claims and someone makes a claim against you, is it still protected? How much would this affect your premium?

yes, that's the whole point of having it protected I think??

you'd need to speak to them to find out how it would affect it

It's protected as long as you stay with your current insurer, however if you wanted to change insurer at renewal time then you would lose your no claims.
