We have just moved out of a rental property,. According to lease we need to pay profesional cleaning costs. However landlord terminated out lease because they want to do extensive renovations - in fact 3 days after we moved out the place has been ripped up.
They have given us a quote from a cleaning company for cleaning of the apartment - however this is clearly a pro-forma quote, since these costs will never be paid since cleaning will be done post renovation.
Any ideas if we are legally obliged to pay this?
Thanks
