Tyre changed has caused a dangerous fault - please help

DP got the rear tyres changed on the car two days ago. Today, we were driving around with the baby in the car and could feel a kind of judder. He got a mechanic friend to look at it who told him

Go elsewhere to correct it. Then take them to the small claims court. Meanwhile contact your local trading standards.

Make sure you get evidence of the incorrect fitting. Photos, evidence from whoever repairs it, from your mechanic friend.
