Travelling with DD to a European country, where I'm originally from. Her father is British. We're not together anymore but he's happy for me to travel with DD when and where I see fit.
I am not sure how the consent letter is supposed to look like. Does it have to be signed by a notary? Can it just say; "I, xxx, the father of xxxx, allow her to travel with her mother, xxxx, outside the UK"? Does he need to write a new letter every time I travel with DD or can the letter state he gives an indefinite consent for her travel abroad with me?
Oh, and our tickets are one-way as I am not sure whether we'll stay 3 or 4 weeks (first time taking DD to see my family). Could that be a problem?
Thanks.
