Hi, I've had 8 mc in 4 years. I've been recently diagnosed with Hughes syndrome and just found out I'm pregnant I started on my 75g asprin 3 weeks ago had a scan 12th oct there was a gestation sac but nothing else. I'm so panicked it's going to happen again I don't sleep , I'm so moody and tired :(

Oh, gosh, that is so hard. Where are you being treated?

Have you considered counselling? 8 MCs is so much to cope with. I struggled hard with two. I also have Hughes but discovered it much earlier in terms of losses.

Hard as it, the gestational sac being empty won't be a clotting issue. It's one of those awful things that happen.

Once I started on the aspirin and clexane (and now high dose folic acid for another clotting issue!), I have had 2 successful pregnancies and another one on the go. The treatment does really work, and you will get pregnant again and this time armed with the right treatment. Courage!

I hope you don't mind me commenting on this but I have someone on my facebook with the same syndrome and miscarriage history. She started a support group called 'Life of Mine, Miscarriage Support' if you're on Facebook and want to look it up. Good luck.

I've had 6 mc, the last three consecutive, and have Factor V and what sounds like the same additional issue as outputgap. Two pregnancies failed on heparin and high-dose folic acid, but I have just given birth to dc3 on the same regime. I would have thought you should be on heparin, tbh - what is the rationale for just using the aspirin? Have you got a specialist looking after you? How many weeks are you? It can be normal v early on to only see a sac, of course. I do know and very much understand the fear Flowers Good luck.

I had a 6 week scan and only a sac. At following week there was a heartbeat. 6 weeks can be too early to tell. Don't lose heart, and good luck xxxFlowers
