Clomid Cycle 1 - Waiting for AF to arrive or not!!!

I am expecting AF in the next few days after my first cycle of Clomid. My preiods are regular as clockwork and often fairly short and light, even before Clomid. I was prescibed Clomid as blood tests indicated that I wasnt ovulating.

I am not sure if I am symptom spotting but I feel so different this month I am finiding it pretty difficult not to get my hopes up!!

I dont normally suffer with PMT symptoms apart from a bit of bloating however this month I seem to have been suffering for the last few weeks. I have had terrible headaches, am unsually tired, have a constant thirst and always feel hungry (for starchy foods such as bread and pasta - which again isnt really like me!), my tummy is HUGE! I am really bloated and swollen. I also suffered with stretchy, pulling pains in my lower abdomen mid month.

I am aware that this could all be wishful thinking but I really do feel different! Hopefully its a sign that the Clomid is either working and has resulted in ovulation or has worked and I am in for a BFP!!

Has anyone else found they feel different??

I have done a few cycles of Clomid and never had the symptoms you are experiencing. Sorry to disappoint you as you are probably wanting to hear from women who experienced what you are experiencing and ended up pregnant to give you hope. Just noticed no one else has responded and this TTC can be lonely enough so I wanted to reply.

I am very familiar though with signs and symptoms that as you say have turned out to be just wishful thinking, and have noticed abdominal cramps around the time when an embryo would be implanting and got my hopes up.

How far along in your cycle are you before you find out what is going on? Am happy to be here for emotional support and would love to hear how you get on.
