Getting hormone profile done after miscarriage

Hi - posting here and in miscarriage as not sure which is appropriate.

Had an ERPC yesterday so I realise it is early days.

Desperate to get started again. It will be IVF as I have no periods due to PCOS. Just wondering when I can get my hormone blood tests redone? I am assuming at the moment my body still believes itself to be PG therefore not accurate to do them. I don't have the 'luxury' of a period to let me know we are good to go.

I hope you recover soon from the ERPC.

Why has IVF seemingly been suggested?. Are there also male factor issues?.

What other PCOS treatment options have been tried if any?. The risk of ovarian hyperstimulation of the ovaries with IVF can occur particularly if PCOS is present so you will need to be carefully monitored.

Blood tests can actually be done according to calendar days i.e day 2 and 21.

I have tried clomid and letrozole with no effect. Been on 1500mg daily of metformin since Aug 2010.

My son was born in Aug 2011 as a result of IVF. I had two frozen embryos at the time. One failed cycle in Feb of this year and then this seemingly successful cycle.

No natural periods at any time since before taking the pill at 18 (now 32) came off the pill in Feb 2010.

So back to IVF whilst I am young and have the best chances.

Thanks for the note on blood tests. So they would just do them on 2nd Aug and 21 Aug (for example)?
