Although I haven't had time to read all of these articles, I wonder how many of you will agree with me that sexual health and reproductive issues in the developing world are a concern for us all.

Whatever your political viewpoint it is worth having a look and thanking your lucky stars that you were fortunate to be born in a culture where womens' health is taken seriously

Suzy - I agree. The treatment of women in some countries is appalling from lack of contraception to exploitation.

I saw this woman on BBCNews 24 last night who completely dumbfounded me by saying she was voting for George Bush because he was pro-life! She then went on to say 4 million babies were murdered in the US last year (meaning I presume aborted.)

Backward thinking indeed and from a so-called progressive nation!

My own personal views are anti abortion ( not in a rabid or extreme way) but I do feel it is supremely ironic that GW Bush is so ' pro-life' when he is so against measures that will cut global warming ( and thereby possibly even save the whole bloody planet) and when he is happy to send the troops into so many countries, thus pretty much guaranteeing loss of life! I expect he is a real gun supporter too.

i am pro choice although I have to say I do think the abortion cut off date should be lowered, i think at the mo it is 24 weeks, I think it should be lowered to 18 weeks.
