Luckily not all of them,I am 43 (nearly) and dont give a monkies what celebs weigh.

My friends feel the same too and by not caring we are not Overweight

there are endless programmes on how to look good, how to dress, how to look 10 years younger etc that it's no wonder, these programmes always feature women in their 30 and 40s.

the ones that really pee me off are the plastic surgery ones there is even a plastic surgery problem page in 'you' magazine.

yes, dino. SminkoPinko is my reincarnation of oppressedliberalpinko as suggested by SenoraPostrophe. Next I will be O'Pinko in honour of my partner's Irish connections, perhaps. Seem to be in a changing phase atm. Brought on by the directionlessness of having my boys staying with their grandparents and the need to be doing my dissertation for college, i suspect.

Problem is the discrepancy between being a healthy weight and wanting to look like celebs. not neccesarily or even usually the same thing.

I am not surprised but it is a shame that even in their 40's women still don't have the self-confidence to be themselves.
