After his wife left him, he decided to repair the house and SELL his 18 month old daughter for £4.000!!!
Got caught after interested couple demanded to see adoption papers which he didn't have.
Beyond belief. I don't think I could put a price on my dd for anything in the world - especially some poxy house repairs. The man is insane.

so either she didn't realise he was a tosser or she's a tosser too

doesn't change what he is

course it doesn't change anything but she left the baby with this nutter so she's as much to blame.

When dh and I read it in papers 2 days ago, we really couldn't believe the whole thing could happen - no matter how desperate someone is. I can't think of a single reason to sell the kid. The wife probably never thought in her wildest dreams that the father would try and sell her. It really never crosses your mind, does it? From what The Mirror said, the guy was all there - LOL - yeah, right. He was only charged with trying to sell a kid without the correct papers - sad, but true.
