desparate for easy peppa pig cake recipe for dds party on Sat!! Am 39 weeks pg needs to be something simple I'm a bit of a baking virgin!

Am thinking of making a square white cake and putting a picture of Peppa on it maybe?

But am completely clueless, have never even made basic sponge, needs to be simple, quick with ingriedients I can get from Tescos!

Yep, I'd just check which supermarket does a PP cake and buy one

My first thought too - tesco do a nice PP one.

At 39 weeks PG, I think you can justify not baking one from scratch this year!!

Buy one!! Your DD won't care, all the other parents will be impressed beyond measure that you are having a party at all at 39 weeks pregnant, and you can practice lots before next year

Last year for dd's birthday I bought a plain iced rectangular sponge from Asda (one of the cakes you can have a photo added to)and iced dd's name, age, Happy Birthday etc with writing icing and used some of her fairy figures stuck onto the top with a bit of icing to make a fairy scene.

Have you got any little Peppa Pig figures you could use and do this instead?
