How much do they charge for cleaning an oven? Are they any good?

Hi, cheshirekitty

I recently used OvenClean - they were absolutely fantastic, my oven is like new and they don't make you feel bad!! It was £65 for the oven itself, which is all I had done. The extractor is extra (not sure how much) and it would have been an extra £5 for the hob. They were there for about 4 hours and I would thoroughly recommend it! Hope that helps.

buy yourself some oven cleaner, rubber gloves and save your money for a night out

Agree with discoball - they are great. A very pleasant gentleman cleaned it. They take out all the parts to their van to clean so no nasty fumes.

My oven looked brandnew afterwards.

Agree, Lubyloo!! I'm afraid the way I see it, it's £60 odd pounds well spent! It's not as if it needs doing more than once a year, or even once every 2 years. I think I can live with that! Also, like you say, no nasty fumes etc. Go for it, Cheshirekitty!

I have used them. Best money I have ever spent. Will be using them again soon. I'd rather stay in than clean my oven!

Yes used them last month, £55.00 for a double oven. It took two and a half hours. I was really impressed.

We used "Ovenu" a few months ago and was about £70 for a double oven. Think it was £55 for a single and was worth every penny. Oven looks brand new again! Still looks great 5 months on so can't imagine doing it again for at least another year!

It does take them quite a while which accounts for the cost...

Does it smell after when you put the oven on?

Thanks for all the replies. Am going to invest in an ovenclean experience!!!

Life is too short to clean an oven.
