Getting paint off brushed cotton/velour ??

DD's nursery had a pyjama party day today for Children in Need so off she went in her favourite pyjamas and new slippers. They then did painting and she has blobs of paint all over both. The pyjamas are white brushed cotton, the slippers are pink velour, the paint is your typical squeezy poster paint. Does anyone have any top tips on how I can get it off??
Thanks, Sam

Well not quite the same but DS1 came home the other day with paint all over his school sweater and I used one of those oxi action stain remover sprays. I've got Asda's one and it worked a treat.

Thank you - I was unsure but it has worked on the slippers.
