Kelly still seems to be stuck on Friday.
I was just about to write on the weekend thread before realising it is actually Monday! We are on half term, so it doesn't feel like a Monday yet.

Hope everyone is ok....looks like another beautiful day today! I can't believe how warm and sunny the weekend was!

I love the nice weather, the kids get to play out for a change.
My otherhalf and I are still not talking...
The house is a tip, as I spent most of yesterday out of the house.
Good whip round today should help.

My cold is much better, which meant I had a better night sleep, thankfully.

Well, better get on, see you all in a while x

ooooh no one else is about!

We are now up and dressed and all the curtains open...what a gorgeous day!! Will be able to give the house an airing, throw some windows open and blow the cobwebs away (metaphorically speaking of course...no cobwebs in the ludaloo house! )

Hmmm I have lots of washing to do too. Blankets need a wash, and the table throw needs it too.

Morning everyone

Luda glad your cold is better. Hope you and DH sort out your problems soon.
Dream enjoy a relaxing half term.
TMH hope DS cheers up.

The weekend was lovely here also. DP was working so me adn the DC's went to teh park in town. DS had a lovely time in the sandpit, sand ended up everywhere. He still has C Pox spots but i'm not sure if he's still infectious. DD went down the fireman's pole adn swung by herself for the first time

I think it's half term here next week, hopefully DD won't catch DS's chicken pox but i think she probably will.

Morning routine all done, 2nd lot of washing done, DD wet the bed again last night, could be a bad sign?

Hope everyone has a good day. Had better get some FLYing done.

We're on a lunch break, too.
Dds have played inside and out, and I have made cakes with dd2 for her homework. We're going swimming this afternoon, and haven' been for ages, so I need to get our stff together.

FLY wise, I'm still not up to scratch. I've spent too long on here I'll fiish my sandwich, and do a 1 hour blitz before we go out

Just popping by

Had a nice morning. Went down town and got Ed some bird seeds for his bird feeder. I got a tray of 15 pretty primulas for £7 and some herb seeds.

Done
Up
Washed
Ed up and washed
S&S bathroom
S&S Loo
Draw curtains
Writing practice with Ed
Make beds
Make and have breakfast
Dress Ed
Lift to town, get supplies
Home
Fill bird feeder and hang it
Make bird cakes with seeds and melted lard stuffed into yoghurt pots
Tidy up
Make lunch
Tidy away

Ed keeps peering out of the window to see if the birds have visited. Poor lad, the feeder has just gone up and the fog has only just burnt off. Ah well, at least he's enthusiastic.

We're going to the Chinese New Year Celebration things at the Children's Centre now so I will catch up later

No actual life here either Ruby I think gibberish has 4? I'm also hoping for inspired answers. I'l have to get some kind of job once ds gets to school. I'd die of boredom if I had to spend all my time cleaning.

Sometimes I think MN echos my life.

I only have two, albeit, two under 3 and there is no way I could work and do all this, although talking to my friends that work full time. they have cleaners and see not a lot of their DC's during the week, therefore, weekends are precious.

I couldnt do it, I would feel super guilty and also paying two sets of nursery fees - we could be left minus money.

My issue is too much going on in jy head and also the boys are fighting. I suppose a 2.11 and a 20 month old what do I expect.

I have managed to polish from the ceiling down as we had cement dust from the paving slab cutting. I need to mop the floors, but that will have top wait until the boys are inbed.

Sorry for the moan.

Ruby do you think that they kind of all look after each other the more you have. The lady out the back of me has 4 boys 8, 6, 4 and 2 and she seems very together.

afternoon all

done

wm on
kitchen floor swept
washing put away
ds taken to granny's

I'm leaving work early today so that I can put the kitchen back in some sort of order after my mammoth chuck-it-out-and-reorganise weekend

Hello! Newbie here. Was just wondering what these threads were all about. I've known about Flylady for about 4 years, and have been off and on her system countless times. Am currently mostly 'on' but am struggling a bit at 37 weeks pregnant and with a 2 year old as well

If this is where you come to encourage one another to keep up with it all - can I join? My main bugbear with Flylady is that it is sooo constant - it seems like one or two days of not doing anything and the whole place falls about my ears. But then I guess that's not Flylady's fault - only having to do housework once would really be a magic fix!

Done today list:

  • was going to change the sheets (try and do it every Monday) but then remembered hadn't got round to it till Wednesday last week, so our sheets are only a few days old = far too clean to even contemplate faffing around with. Did make the bed though (although just mine, not DS's ).
  • had no water until 10am which really limited the amount of housework could do (well gutted about that, can you tell?). When we got our water back I put one load of washing on which is still sitting there lovely and wet in the machine.
  • hoovered half the flat.

Sob!

Afternoon

DD didn't go to playschool so have been stuck inside on a lovely sunny day
DD just wants cuddles all the time, neither of them have eaten much= DD nothing DS breakfast and bottles.
If she doesn't go in tomorrow will definately have to get some FLYing done. Did mission first thing and have done 2 lots of washing, just have to put dc's away when DS wakes up.

Ruby just look at your dc's and appretiate what a great job you're doing. i agree with TMH i would feel soo guilty going out to work and leaving someone else to bring up the kids and do my housework, extra money would be really useful though.
Having been brought up as 2nd of 4, i definately only wanted 2, to many memories of arguementsetc., did have some great times thogh.

DD has fallen asleep on my lap, yes i've been typing one handed, had bettter try and move and put down for a nap
