Anyone know where I can get a small plain, bottle green sew on patch please?

DD fell off her scooter the other day wearing her new, school jogging trousers and has made a hole in the knee . Only bought them a month ago for her new school and they were £10!!!!
I checked DD hadn't hurt herself once I'd rubbed the trousers better first!
Obviously I'm not planning a new pair just yet. The material is very thin, has almost a felt feel to it, so I think stitching it may just make it worse. I am hopeless at sewing and just thought maybe a patch of some kind would work. Anyone know where I can one from or know the best way to stop the hole from getting bigger?

If they have pockets in them, I'd cut one out (replace it with something else if you're bothered) and use the pocket fabric for a patch.

You'll be struggling to get the exact same fabric from anywhere else, unfortunately.

If you can't match the fabric well enough to patch the outside, choose a fabric slightly darker than the trousers and put the patch on the inside, so less of it will be visible.
