Hoovering - EVERY day do you have pets? Our house is lucky to get hoovered once a week... (although we will zap any obvious bits with the dustbuster...)

im paranoid about dust, thats why i hoover so much! we have one cat who is hardly ever in...if i dont hoover one day i cant stop thinking about what might be in the arpet only takes 5 mins anyway.

Every day, DH and I will between us:

Make breakfast
Wash up
Make beds
Clean bathrooms after use
Do one load of laundry
Cook dinner
Wash up
Empty bins
Sort out school bags and kit bags
Deal with paperwork
Sundry tidying

I am embarrassed now because he does most of that. The cleaning lady does all the ironing, all the floors, stripping and changing beds, wiping and polishing.

Washing, ironing, dishwasher (load and unload several times a day) hoovering, making up bottles, tidying up toys etc.....

I need to hoover every day because I have very messy boys, and a very old carpet that shows all the tiniest bits up. What I would like most in the world is enough money to get wooden flooring in the front room and hall.

Things that always get done daily are

Breakfast
Empty Dishwasher
Load of Washing
Clean bedding on DS1's bed (he still wets every night but refuses to wear nappies/pj pants of any description)
Lunch
Bottles
Empty Bins (if needed)
Cook dinner
Load Dishwasher

everything else gets done as and when, or when really needs doing.

breakfast/lunch/dinner
washing up in between-
bit of clothes washing, bit of ironing if there's something on telly i want to watch!
clean out guinea-pig,caterpillars,pulling up weeds in garden, with the childrens help!
but the way i see it- i stayed at home to look after the children, so......house work sort of fits around that. i certainly didn't give up work, to do houuse work all the time!i'm working at being the childrens carer, if they were at a childminders, i wouldn't want them trailing rould her doing her housework!!
